Giving a Wine Bottle Holder as a Gift

Wine bottle holders are a very popular gift, as long as you know your friend has bottles of wine that are not immediately consumed. Probably not the best gift for for a sorority sister. They don't need to be wine snobs either - anyone with a decorative sensibility will enjoy showing off their Boon's Farm or their Yellowtail in a sleek wine bottle holder. In fact, a cheap bottle of wine will gain a few extra 'wow' points just for hanging out in such a cool way. It might not make it taste any better, but according to Freakenomics, the price tag doesn't really matter.

The great thing about a Wine Bottle Holder is that so few people actually have them. Wine bottles stand up perfectly well on their own, so who needs a fancy gadget to display them?  Exactly, nobody needs one. But everyone is always excited to get one. It not only shows that they are recognized as a sophisticated drinker, but it allows them to show their guests that they have bottles of wine that are not yet open.  This is important because they look prepared for company, and they don't look like alcoholics. They can hold themselves back!  And let's face it; it is really hard to get some people gifts.

But what if they are particular about their home décor?  Will your wine bottle holder gift fit in seamlessly?  Well, of course there are many, many different styles to choose from.  Some are sleek and minimalistic, while others might need to be handpicked for a rustic French kitchen. Either way, there is an overlooked issue – wine bottles themselves are decorated in sometimes outrageous ways that might clash with the truly persnickety. Having a Wine Bottle Holder that either complements their home design, or gets out of the way and lets the bottle speak for itself is one solution.
